A clutch is a big job with the gearbox out, so it is the wrong place to cut corners. Reusing a worn dual-mass flywheel to save a few hundred euro is how people end up doing the whole job twice inside two years.
We fit complete kits — plate, cover and release bearing — and we measure the flywheel rather than guessing. If a dual-mass unit is within tolerance we tell you and reuse it; if it isn't, we show you why before ordering. Concentric slave cylinders get replaced as standard, because getting back in there for one is money thrown away.
On the gearbox side: bearing and synchro noise, selector problems, leaking seals and clutch hydraulics. If a box needs a rebuild or a replacement unit you get both prices and an honest opinion on which makes sense for the age of the car.
